Paramania is heading into 2014 with a big sales boost and a promise of quick delivery times - and exciting new ideas and products.
With the Paramania GTX cross-country wing shaping up as a competition winner and strong sales of beginner and slalom wings, the paramotor-only company has seen sales rise strongly in recent months.
"We've only just managed to clear a big backlog of orders," said joint owner and lead designer, Mike Campbell-Jones.
"Strong demand coupled with production problems at Gin Gliders in Korea, our main supplier, made it a bit hectic for a while and we'd like to apologise to anyone who had to wait for a wing in 2013. Now we've got wings in stock and a delivery time of only a week."
Paramania had a huge PR success in early 2013 when Brazilian TV screened a popular round-the-world paramotor series - "Aéreas" - that is now being sold around the world. And then in September the short film We Are The Rovers, shot in Scotland with Paramania wings and pilots, won an award at Coupe Icare in France.
"We're not resting on our laurels this year", says Campbell-Jones. "We've been listening to pilots and will be offering tweaks and upgrades for new and existing wings - along with some other exciting stuff in 2014."
